The DEA-PE is an Alliance design department that develops vehicle parts and systems. Its scope includes the heating and air conditioning system, mechanical cooling, passive safety, seat frames, controls, the cockpit and life on board, as well as the strategy of body equipment styling. It helps develop projects in cooperation with suppliers all over the world in compliance with quality, cost, time, and customer requirements constraints. Its standardization of parts and design processes allows for economies of scale. The DEA-PE is also developing innovations that increase the value and attractiveness of our vehicles.
